Just got a ticket for going 55 in a 35. A bicycle pulled out in front of me on the road and another car was coming on the other side, and i couldnt slow down or i was going to run into this guys yard or the bicyclist, so i sped up to pass him and a cop was on the side of the road. totally saw what happened and i explained to him, but he gave me a ticket anyways. Should I plea not guilty or just go ahead and pay? and how much is the ticket going to be? it doesnt say on the receipt at all to calculate it?? @kebert xela...pretty sure you weren't there to see it. if i hadn't have sped up it would've been a bad wreck, and the biker probably dead...so yes, speeding is necessary in certain circumstances to avoid something bad happening....
